Ron Sfarzo, Nationally Acclaimed Accordionist, Pianist, Organist, Arranger, Composer. Ron started playing the accordion at the age of 7. Growing up in a musical family he was accustomed to performing. His brother Angelo owned Angelo¹s House of Music in San Francisco; by the age of 16 he was working at the store selling musical instruments and professionally performing on Accordion, Piano and Organ.
As a professional musician, Ron¹s career blossomed traveling and performing around the world. In 1972 Ron became Concert Artist for the Wurlitzer Piano and Organ Company. Ron then went to become a concert artist for the Baldwin, Lowery, Hammond and Roland Keyboards companies giving concerts and workshops throughout the US and parts of Europe.
Ron has been a member of the NPMA (National Piano Manufactures Association). He is now currently a member of the AFM (American Federation of Musicians, NPTA (National Piano Travelers Association, MTAC (Music Teachers Association of California, and BMI (Broadcaster’s Music International). Today Ron continues in his musical career performing for Jim Belushi, Jimmy Buffet, Francis Ford Coppola, Clint Eastwood, Charo, Henry Kissinger, Steve Miller, the Smothers Brothers and Al Masini, creator of Life & Styles of the Rich and Famous and Entertainment Tonight.
One of Ron’s most memorable moments was when he was asked to play for George Shearing¹s 80th birthday, as he will say, " it doesn't get better than that". There was another time that I arrived for the performance and found that it was a private party with Oprah.
As the contracted accordionist for George Lucas Skywalker Orchestra, Ron could hear playing accordion in the musical score for the movie staring Tommy Lee Jones, In The Electric Mist and the new “Red Alert 3 “ PC Video game.
